The name Puka Da Koolah came from an incident that happened while
we were in Las Vegas. After a day on the links the uncles from West
Hawaii Hawaiian Men's Golf Club were invited to Uncle Mike and Aunty
Cindy's place for a get together. I got a call from Fred saying that he was
coming back to the hotel to get the instruments and picking me up. After
reaching the party I got together with Kalei. I had 12 pack of Heineken,
Kalei had a 12 pack and uncle Mike's koolah was filled up, it was choke
with Heineken. Once the beers started flowing that was it. The 2 of us
finished the 1st 12 pack then worked on the next 12. Just before leaving
we just had to look for the last one just to top off the night. Guess what,
ahh Puka Da Koolah. No more beers. Poor Uncle Mike he only had 4
beers that night. That 2 kids had drink um all. If you planning to play with
Puka Da Koolah guess what, Puka Da Koolah

Puka Da Koolah Golf Club was started in January of 2006. Club play
is the Second Saturday at Kiahuna Golf Course in Poipu. We
welcome all locals and visitors. Check in at the Pro Shop no later
than 11:30 am first group tee's off at 12:00 pm. We have Low Gross,
2nd Gross, Low Net, 2nd Net Places and a Gross and Net skins
Game. We do a random pairing so be ready to play with everyone.
